My Business Name

 

Let me tell y’all a little story about how AdoorABle Kreations & Designs got its name—because it’s not just a cute play on words, it’s rooted in something really special: my family.

 

Back when I was just getting started, I hopped on Facebook and asked my amazing supporters to help me come up with the perfect name for my new little business. And y’all showed up in the best way. One of the names suggested stood out immediately—it wasn’t just creative, it was personal.

 

See, the capital AB in AdoorABle represents my kids, Austyn and Brooke. The K in Kreations is for me, Kim. And the D in Designs is for my husband, David. Every letter in that name ties back to the people who mean the most to me.

 

So when you see my business name, you’re not just seeing a brand—you’re seeing my heart. My roots. My reason why.

 

This journey has always been about more than paint and wood. It’s about family, love, and creating something meaningful with the people who support me every step of the way.

 

My painting story 

 

I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember. I grew up in my mom’s ceramic shop, where creativity was just part of everyday life. I’d spend hours there painting pieces and even entering them into the Interstate Fair—some of my best memories are tied to those moments.

 

Fast forward a bit—life took a different turn when I became my dad’s full-time caretaker. For six years, I couldn’t work outside the home, and in 2020, I picked up painting again, this time as a hobby. I started making door hangers, just for fun… and somehow, that little spark turned into something much bigger.

 

In the last 4 ½ years, AdoorABle Kreations & Designs has grown more than I ever imagined. And that’s not just because of paint, wood, or bows—it’s because of you. Every like, every order, every encouraging word… it all matters.
